Medical doctor with a master's in biotechnology from Cambridge, Julia is a second time HealthTech founder with 10 years experience working across the clinical and commercial sides of healthcare. Despite starting her career on track to become a surgeon, Julia pivoted into HealthTech after her time at Cambridge, and now and serves as a medical advisor on several prominent boards. Her unique expertise straddles tech and medicine, making her well positioned to bring PREMAZ from the research lab into the hands of patients.

Cameron has a background in biological sciences and a career spanning B2B and B2C SaaS across healthtech, finance, and enterprise software. As Co-Founder, he leads the company’s commercial strategy, with responsibility for clinical partnerships, sales, and pipeline growth.

He focuses on scaling the company’s commercial engine, building strategic partnerships, and translating market demand into sustainable, long-term growth.

As a Strategic Advisor, Steve provides guidance on board governance, regulatory frameworks (including GDPR and HIPAA), and corporate structuring for institutional scale. He also advises on IP protection, enterprise contracting, and strategic transactions, including partnerships and exit pathways.

Jasbir Singh

Seasoned technology entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience founding, scaling, and exiting enterprise software companies across the BFSI and life sciences sectors. As a Non-Executive Director, Jasbir provides strategic oversight across technology, partnerships, and long-term positioning. He supports the company’s capital strategy and non-dilutive funding efforts, while advising on large-scale partnerships and exit pathways. He also oversees software architecture, regulatory, and compliance considerations across the tech team.

Dr Thornhill is a highly experienced and published expert in clinical genetics and diagnostics, with over 25 years spanning research, laboratory leadership, and biotechnology. He is currently Chief Scientific Officer at Advance Tests, an Alzheimer’s blood biomarker testing company focused on early detection of cognitive decline. As a Scientific Advisor to PREMAZ, Dr Thornhill provides guidance on biomarker strategy, clinical validation, and the integration of blood-based diagnostics with digital cognitive assessment to enable earlier and more precise detection of dementia.

Prof Jon Simons

Prof Jon Simons

Academic Research Advisor

Professor Jon Simons is a Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge and a world-leading expert in human memory and cognitive health. He leads the Cambridge Memory Laboratory, where his research focuses on the neural mechanisms underlying memory and early cognitive change. He has published over 100 papers in leading international journals and has received major funding from UKRI and organisations including the Wellcome Trust. Jon currently serves as Head of the School of Biological Sciences at Cambridge, reflecting his leadership in both research and academic strategy.

Dr Ravi Badge

Dr Ravi Badge is an NHS Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in sports medicine. He has a particular interest in sports-related traumatic brain injury (TBI) and leads clinical partnerships for PREMAZ in this area. Passionate about preventative healthcare, he is focused on advancing early screening tools for cognitive decline. Dr Badge has supported international athletes at major sporting events and contributes to ongoing research in sports-related brain health and injury prevention.

Dr Helena Gellersen

Dr Helena Gellersen

Scientific Lead

Dr Gellersen is a cognitive neuroscientist specializing in memory, ageing, and early neurodegenerative disease. Her research focuses on detecting the earliest cognitive changes using precision memory testing, neuroimaging, and digital assessment technologies. Dr Gellersen led the research into the precision memory work done at the Cambridge Memory Lab, and now serves as Scientific Lead at Prema Cognition, working to bring her work into the hands of patients.
